Resilience in Arctic Social-Ecological Systems
Stockholm, Sweden
The Stockholm Resilience Centre seeks a researcher on resilience in
arctic social-ecological systems. The position will be based in
Stockholm, Sweden.
The successful applicant will serve as the scientific leader of the
Arctic Resilience Report (ARR). Position duties include providing
scientific leadership in developing and carrying out resilience
assessment in the ARR, initiating and supporting different project
activities under the ARR, and leading the method development for the
resilience assessment. The position will be the lead person responsible
for synthesizing insights and structuring the interim and final reports
of the ARR, functioning as one of the lead authors.
Candidates should be midlevel to senior academics with experience in
resilience research and integrated assessments. Research experience in
the arctic region is required, as is experience with policy-oriented
assessments and studies and participatory research processes.
